John Adams

John Adams is an experienced professional in code enforcement and fire safety with a diverse background in public service. Currently serving as a Code Enforcement Officer for the City of College Park, MD since December 2021, John Adams ensures compliance with various city codes and ordinances for both commercial and residential properties. Prior to this role, John Adams worked for Fairfax County Fire from January 1994 to April 2022, taking on the responsibilities of Master Technician and Fire Inspector 1, focusing on fire alarms, firefighting operations, and fire prevention compliance. Additionally, John Adams served as an Operation Room Supply Specialist at The George Washington University Hospital from May 1987 to January 1994, and began a military career as a Corporal in the US Army from February 1980 to May 1986.
