Currently serving as the Assistant City Attorney - Legislative Counsel for the City of Colorado Springs since October 2017, Benjamin provides legal advice on legislation, ethics, and governance while coordinating legislative teams on significant matters. Prior experiences include working as a Senior Attorney at TRS Corp., where real estate acquisitions were managed in compliance with legal regulations, and as an Associate at Babst, Calland, Clements & Zomnir, P.C., representing oil and gas companies in real estate transactions. Benjamin's foundation in law is supported by a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Vanderbilt University Law School and a BA in Political Science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
