Jason Strickland

Jason Strickland currently serves as the Chief Communications Officer for the City of Colorado Springs, overseeing public affairs, media relations, and marketing communications. With a robust background in communications within the Veterans Affairs sector, Jason has held key positions including Chief Communications Officer for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, where responsibilities included directing communications for the Rocky Mountain Network and managing correspondence for legislative inquiries. Additional roles include Director of Communications at the National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic, contributing writer for AMAC, and columnist for The Colorado Springs Gazette, focusing on Veteran issues. Jason holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor’s degree in Government from California State University-Sacramento.
