Sarah Ball Johnson

Sarah Ball Johnson has extensive experience in election administration and public service. Currently serving as the City Clerk for the City of Colorado Springs since June 2012, Sarah previously held positions with the Commonwealth of Kentucky, including Executive Director and Assistant Director of the Kentucky State Board of Elections, where responsibilities involved overseeing election laws and voter registration. Earlier roles included Training and Development Specialist at the Kentucky Board of Elections and Field Assistant for U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell. Sarah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Communications from Transylvania University, a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Kentucky, and has been designated as a Master Municipal Clerk by the International Institute of Municipal Clerks.
