Shawna Lippert is a Senior Economic Development Specialist at the City of Colorado Springs since November 2021. Prior to this role, Shawna served as an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs from August 2009 to December 2021, teaching various undergraduate courses and holding positions such as Program Director for the EPIIC Venture Attractor, Co-Founder and Program Director of the Office of Professional & Executive Development, and Staff Advisor for the Center for Entrepreneurship. Shawna has also worked as a Project Manager for non-IT projects within several university initiatives and held interim and assistant roles at the Colorado Springs Small Business Development Center. Earlier experience includes serving as Office Manager at Bonham & Associates. Shawna holds an MBA with an emphasis in Innovation Management from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, a Bachelor in Business Administration from New Mexico Highlands University, and an Associate degree in Business Administration from San Juan College.
