Maia Collins-Thompson

Maia Collins-Thompson is an accomplished information technology professional with extensive experience across various organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Information Technology for the City of Columbus since April 2023, Maia also works as an Information Technology Services Specialist at Belk Distribution Center. Previously, Maia held the position of Technical Expert at Apple from December 2015 to February 2023 and worked as an Information Technology Analyst for the CDC Foundation from September 2021 to December 2022. Maia's career in technology began with the US Army, where Maia served as an Information Technology Specialist from March 2010 to June 2016. Maia holds a Master of Business Administration from Mississippi College (2015-2018) and a degree in Economics with a focus on International Economics from Tougaloo College (2010-2015).
