Tim Thompson

Tim Thompson, AICP, serves as the Assistant Director of Community Development for the City of Concord, New Hampshire, since September 2023, focusing on community and economic development initiatives. Previously, Tim held the position of Community Development Director for the Town of Merrimack from August 2011 to September 2023, where responsibilities included directing planning, zoning, administration, and economic development activities. Tim's tenure also includes significant roles as Town Planner for Londonderry and Staff Planner for Rochester, with responsibilities spanning development review, long-range planning, and ordinance development. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Urban Planning & Development and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design from Ball State University, complemented by certificates in Economic Development and Local Government Leadership.
