Charles Mendoza

Charles Mendoza is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in asset management and public works. Currently serving as the Assistant Director of Asset Management for the City of Corpus Christi since June 2019, Charles provides senior-level advisory services on infrastructure, maintenance, and construction programs. Prior to this, a significant tenure at the Naval Facilities Engineering Command spanned from 2000 to 2019, where roles included Deputy Public Works Officer, Production Division Director, and Public Works Officer. In these positions, Charles showcased expertise in facilities planning, design, and management, notably leading a $500 million construction contract at Naval Air Station Jacksonville. Charles holds a Master’s in Engineering, Construction Engineering from the University of Florida and a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
