Michael Livingston has over 15 years of experience in IT management and administration. Michael is currently the Director of Information Technology at the City of Corvallis, where they are responsible for strategic planning and overall management of the department. Michael successfully deployed a new financial system in 2018. Prior to this, Michael worked at nLIGHT as an IT Manager, overseeing operations and budget for the IT department in Shanghai, China. Michael also served as a Data Systems Architect and IT Supervisor, managing SQL servers and the functionality of the ERP system. Additionally, they worked as a Data Systems Administrator at Professional Tool Manufacturing.

Michael Livingston attended Southern Oregon University from 2003 to 2006, where they obtained a degree in Physics. In addition to their academic education, they also earned various certifications. In 2000, they became a Cisco Certified Network Associate through Cisco. In 2002, they obtained their Private Pilot certification from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Subsequently, in 2012, they received their Instrument Pilot certification from the FAA. Lastly, in 2013, they completed the Squadron Leadership School offered by the Civil Air Patrol.
