Averlee Howie

Averlee Howie is a skilled Geographic Information Systems Coordinator at the City of Courtenay since February 2018, specializing in GIS services and the management of spatial databases utilizing SQL and ArcGIS server systems. Prior experience includes work as a GIS Technician, focusing on data collection, entry, and manipulation within a municipal setting, along with map generation and GPS data collection. Previously, Averlee worked at Terra Remote Sensing from January 2015 to February 2018, contributing as a GIS Technician in airborne LiDAR and marine survey projects. Averlee holds a Bachelor of Science in Geography and Environmental Studies from the University of Victoria and is currently pursuing an Advanced Diploma in Geographic Information Systems from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
