Assistant Manager Of Recreation Programming at CITY OF COURTENAY

Caleigh Ellis is an experienced recreation programming professional with a diverse background in community engagement and program development. Currently serving as the Assistant Manager of Recreation Programming for the City of Courtenay since May 2015, Caleigh has previously held roles including Recreation Coordinator and Recreation Programmer for the Town of Comox. Prior experience includes a position as Program Coordinator at Okanagan Boys and Girls Clubs, where Caleigh facilitated youth programming during the construction of a new youth center, and Community School Recreation Coordinator for Northern Lights School Division, developing community-based programming. Caleigh began career development as a Youth Program Evaluation Intern with the Town of Pelham, focusing on improving youth services. Caleigh holds a Master of Arts in Sustainable Leisure Management from Vancouver Island University, a Bachelor of Applied Health Science in Recreation and Leisure from Brock University, and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from The University of Lethbridge.
