Wendy Morin is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in municipal leadership and youth support services. Currently serving as the Municipal Director and CVRD Director at the Comox Valley Regional District since October 2018 and as a City Councillor for the City of Courtenay since November 2018, Wendy brings valuable governance and community engagement expertise. Additionally, Wendy has played a critical role as the Girls Group Coordinator at the Comox Valley Transition Society since January 1999, where skills in designing therapeutic and psycho-educational programs for youth are applied. Formerly, as a Youth and Family Substance Use Counsellor at The John Howard Society of North Island until December 2022, Wendy focused on supporting youth and families in achieving health and well-being. Earlier experience includes roles as a Family Development Worker at Comox Valley Family Services Association and active participation with the Girls Action Foundation. Wendy holds a Human Services Diploma from North Island College.
