Dafne Hernandez Banderas is an experienced urban planning professional currently serving as an Associate Planner for the City of Covington since June 2018, focusing on complex legal, community, and technical planning issues. Previous roles at the City include Assistant Planner and Planning Technician, where responsibilities ranged from data analysis to compliance assurance and community outreach. Dafne has interned with the King County Bar Association's Housing Justice Project as a Legal Assistant, as well as at the Rainier Chamber of Commerce and Seattle Pacific University. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Urban Studies from Seattle Pacific University and an Associate of Arts degree from Foothill College.
