Susan Ellis, CMC, CKMC, currently serves as City Clerk for the City of Covington, Kentucky, since June 2021, where responsibilities include managing official records and facilitating communication with the public and government officials. Prior experience includes roles at The City of Fort Wright, KY, where Susan held positions as Treasurer/Senior Deputy Clerk and City Clerk from April 2016 to May 2021, and as Assistant City Clerk, focusing on public relations, technical management, financial oversight, and administrative functions. Susan also co-owns Classy Canine Wines since July 2015 and has a long history in consulting as an Independent Computer Consultant with Ellis Consulting from 1991 to 2017, along with various technical support roles. Educational credentials include an MBA in Business Marketing from Wright State University and a Bachelor of Education in Elementary Education from The University of Toledo.
