Denise Hnytka is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in public relations and media. Currently serving as the Chief Communications Officer for the City of Davenport since August 2024, Denise previously held the role of Public Relations Arsonist at MindFire Communications from June 2022 to August 2024. Denise's media career includes significant tenures as a News Anchor at WQAD-TV from November 2011 to July 2022 and at KWCH 12 from June 2008 to November 2011, as well as experience as a Television News Reporter at Kmeg TV Channel 14 from June 2006 to June 2008. Denise holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcasting from Western Illinois University, graduated in 2006.
