Laura Berkley

Laura B. serves as the Development & Planning Administrator for the City of Davenport since July 2017, previously holding the position of Economic Development Analyst. Prior to this role, Laura worked at the Bi-State Regional Commission from January 2009 to June 2017 as a Senior Planner, overseeing solid waste management, multi-jurisdictional hazard mitigation planning, and comprehensive economic development strategies. Laura's earlier experience includes roles as a Special Project Coordinator and Planner for the City of Davenport, focusing on flood disaster grant programs, zoning enforcement, and historic preservation. Educational achievements include a Master's Degree in Community and Economic Development from Western Illinois University and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from Augustana College.
