Jerry B B. has a significant amount of work experience in various engineering roles. Jerry B started their career in 1983 as a Machinist Mate in the US Navy, where they received training in steam propulsion and air conditioning-refrigeration systems.

After leaving the Navy in 1989, Jerry worked as a Licensed Chief Engineer at Enron from 1999 to 2005. Jerry B then transitioned to the role of a Licensed Chief Powerhouse Stationary Engineer at the City of Dearborn in 1998.

In 2004, Jerry joined the American Society of Power Engineers as a Licensed Power Plant Operating Chief Engineer. Jerry B later became a First Class Stationary Engineer at the Michigan Dept. of Licensing & Regulatory Affairs Bureau of Construction Codes in 2005.

From 2005 to 2019, Jerry worked at Beaumont Health as a Licensed Chief Stationary/Operating Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for the maintenance and safe operation of the facilities' steam and chiller plant. Jerry B also had job knowledge of Energy Management Systems, HVAC, refrigeration, and auxiliary steam equipment. During their time at Beaumont Health, Jerry managed a physical power plant with labor union skilled tradesmen in 1998-1999.

Most recently, in 2019, Jerry joined CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) EMEA as an Operating Engineer.

Jerry B B. began their education in 1983 by attending the U.S. Navy Propulsion Engineering School. Jerry B obtained a certification in High Pressure Steam Plant Operation & Maintenance after completing their studies there in 1987. Following this, they attended the Detroit Engineering Institute from 1987 to 1988, where they pursued a degree in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC/R). In 1991, Jerry enrolled at Henry Ford College and obtained an A.S. degree in Energy Technology. During the same year, they also received a certification as a Power Building Engineer from Henry Ford College. In 1995, Jerry acquired a Universal CFC certification from the Environmental Protection Agency.
