Mason Christensen is an experienced archivist and communications specialist currently employed by the City of Dearborn since January 2016, where responsibilities include processing archival collections for the Dearborn Historical Museum and managing the museum's pastperfect database. Prior to this role, Mason served as a collections and administrative assistant at the Courthouse Square Association, where cataloging artifacts and conducting research for exhibits were key duties. Mason has also held various positions in academia and museums, including roles as a graduate research and teaching assistant at Middle Tennessee State University, an intern with the National Park Service, and multiple internships at organizations like the Pennsylvania Military Museum and the Penn State All-Sports Museum. Mason holds a Master’s degree in Public History from Middle Tennessee State University and dual Bachelor’s degrees in History and Geography from Penn State University.
