Brad Phillips

Brad Phillips has extensive work experience in information systems and GIS support. Brad began their career as a Professional Geographer at Teledyne Brown Engineering in 1989. Brad then moved on to work as a Sr. Systems Engineer at Intergraph in 1990. Following that, they joined CIMSgts as an Information Systems Analyst in 1997. In 2001, they became a Sr. GIS Support Analyst at the City of Decatur Alabama, where they later transitioned to the role of Network Administrator in 2012. Since 2014, they have been serving as the Director of Information Systems at the City of Decatur Alabama.

Brad Phillips holds an MBA from the University of North Alabama, which they obtained between 2004 and 2006, with a concentration in Information Systems. Prior to that, they also earned a Bachelor's degree in Professional Geography from the same university, completing it between 1985 and 1988. Additionally, Brad has acquired certifications such as the "Certified Virtualization Expert® 5.1" from VMTraining, Inc. in May 2013, and the "Milestone Advanced Certification" from Milestone/BICSI in December 2011.
