Jamie Smith

Jamie Smith is an experienced professional with a diverse background in various industries, including transportation, pest control, retail, and water treatment. Currently serving as a School Bus Driver for the City of Decatur, Alabama since November 2021, Jamie previously held roles as a Pest Control Technician at Cook's Pest Control and a Sales Team Member focused on Fishing & Hunting at Academy Sports + Outdoors. With a strong foundation in water management, Jamie worked as a Water Plant Operator for West Morgan Water Authority from December 2015 to November 2020 and has extensive experience in water treatment, waste water, and production from a long tenure at International Paper. Jamie holds an Alabama Grade 4 certification in water treatment. Education was completed at Decatur High School from 1979 to 1982.
