Tim Gleason

Tim Gleason, ICMA-CM, currently serves as City Manager for the City of Decatur, Illinois, since May 2024, and holds a position on FEMA's National Advisory Council since December 2021. Prior roles include City Manager in Bloomington, Illinois from July 2018 to May 2024, and City Manager in Decatur from March 2015 to July 2018. Additional experience encompasses tenure as City Administrator in Washington, Illinois, Deputy Director at the State of Illinois, and a long tenure in law enforcement in Pekin, Illinois. Educational credentials include a Master of Public Administration from the University of Illinois Springfield, an Executive Leaders Program certification from the Naval Postgraduate School, and certification in Human Resources Management from the International Public Management Association for Human Resources.
