Tamara Baker

Tamara Baker is an accomplished accounting professional with extensive experience in budget management and fiscal oversight. Currently serving as the Budget Manager and Chief Accounting Officer for the City of Deerfield Beach since July 2018, Tamara has previously held roles including Associate Manager of Contracts and Grants Accounting at Nova Southeastern University and Accounting Manager at the Early Learning Coalition of Broward County, Inc. Additional experience includes Senior Auditor at Harvey, Covington & Thomas, LLC, CPAs, and various accounting positions at Superstein & Superstein CPAs and Nubian Tax Consultants, Inc. Educationally, Tamara holds both a Master of Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from St. Thomas University.
