David Gentile

David Gentile, AICP, currently serves as a Development Planner for the City of Delaware, OH, since February 2023, after a diverse career that spans roles in planning and aircraft maintenance. Gentile has been a Commission Member at the Morrow County Regional Planning Commission since May 2018 and previously held the position of Planner II / GIS at Richland County Regional Planning Commission from November 2017 to February 2023. Gentile's extensive experience includes a 25-year tenure as an Aircraft Mechanic in the U.S. Air Force, as well as earlier roles involving zoning and planning within Morrow County and transportation operations at The Ohio State University. Gentile holds a Bachelor of Science in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from The Ohio State University and an Associate of Science in Airframe Mechanics from the Community College of the Air Force.
