Michael Bartholomew is an experienced municipal leader currently serving as City Manager and previously as Director of Community Development for the City of Des Plaines since December 2010. Prior experience includes serving as Assistant City Manager and Development Director for the City of Sterling Heights from 2007 to 2010. Michael holds a Bachelor's degree in Community Development and a Master's degree in Public Administration from Central Michigan University, as well as completion of the Senior Executive Institute at the University of Virginia.
