Lakeita Sutton, MBA, CGFO has a diverse work experience in various financial roles. Lakeita is currently working as the Assistant Director of Financial Services at the City of DeSoto since December 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Finance & IT at the City of Kennedale from July 2019 to December 2021.

Before their time at the City of Kennedale, Lakeita was the Director of Finance at the City of Glenn Heights from July 2015 to 2019. Lakeita also briefly worked as a Finance Analyst at the same organization for three months in 2015.

Lakeita's earlier experience includes working at ITT Educational Services, Inc. where they held multiple positions.
