Denise Fair Razo

Denise Fair Razo has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Denise began their career as an Administrative Fellow in the Office of the President at Trinity Health in 2007. Denise then worked as a Project Manager for Executive Operations and Strategic Projects, overseeing system-wide initiatives. Following this, they served as a Practice Administrator for Ambulatory Operations, responsible for the overall performance of multiple primary care clinics and urgent care centers. In 2013, they became a Senior Consultant for Mergers and Acquisitions, managing financial and operational projects. Denise Fair Razo also worked as a Program Consultant at Trinity Health before transitioning to their role as Group Practice Director at Henry Ford Health System in 2015. In this position, they provided leadership for various medical centers and later took on additional responsibilities as the Acting Director of Outpatient Behavioral Health and Maplegrove Addiction Treatment Center. In 2019, they became the Chief Public Health Officer for the Detroit Health Department at the City of Detroit. Their experience showcases their skills in leadership, operations, strategic planning, and project management within the healthcare field.

Denise Fair Razo, MBA, MPH, FACHE completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Women's Studies and Afro-American Studies at the University of Michigan from 2001 to 2005. Denise then pursued a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Health Policy and Management at the University of California, Berkeley from 2005 to 2007. In 2016, they furthered their education by obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from Wayne State University - Mike Ilitch School of Business. Denise Fair Razo also holds the certification of Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), which they obtained in 2016 from the American College of Healthcare Executives.
