Emilie Rohrbach

Emilie Rohrbach is an experienced professional currently serving as the Director of Events & Training at Oakland Thrive since March 2023 and as a City Council Member for Madison Heights since November 2019. Rohrbach's background includes roles such as Business Forward Events Lead for Oakland County, Michigan Government, and Regional Political Director for Gretchen Whitmer for Governor. Additional leadership experience includes serving as Vice President of Account Leadership at The Guerrilla Politic and various campaign management positions for candidates like Kelly Breen and Andy Meisner. Previously, Rohrbach spent several years as the Director of Community Engagement for Volunteers of America Michigan. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Training and Development from Oakland University and a Fellowship in Political Leadership from Emerge Michigan, alongside a Bachelor of Music Education from Harding University.
