Eric Johnson

Eric Johnson is a seasoned professional in building safety and code enforcement with extensive experience in municipal and consulting roles. Currently serving as Supervisor Building Inspector/Plan Reviewer for the City of Detroit since May 2019, Eric Johnson oversees plan and zoning reviews for diverse residential and commercial projects. Previous roles include Metropolitan Regional Manager at Environmental Testing & Consulting, Inc., and Chief of Property Maintenance & Code Administration for the City of Detroit. Eric Johnson also contributed significantly to the City of Detroit Housing & Revitalization Department, managing a team dedicated to housing rehabilitation programs, and served as the owner of EZ Professional Services, LLC, where expertise in construction management and lead-based paint inspection was developed.
