Eva Torres

Eva Torres is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in financial coaching and management. Currently serving as the District 6 Manager for the City of Detroit since July 2019, Eva has a strong background in financial education, having held positions as a Financial Education Coach at Jewish Vocational Service and JVS Detroit from 2013 to 2019, as well as at SER Metro Detroit from 2009 to 2013. Prior to this, Eva worked as a HOPE Financial Well Being Coach at Operation HOPE from 2016 to 2019 and began a career in finance at The Children's Center of Wayne County, where responsibilities included Payroll and General Ledger supervision from 1999 to 2009. Eva holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Siena Heights University, which was completed between 2006 and 2009.
