Jerrell Harris

Jerrell Harris is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in urban planning, real estate development, and city administration. Currently serving as Deputy Director of the General Services Department for the City of Detroit, Jerrell manages essential services including vehicle fleet operations and park planning. Previous roles include President of Araminta Planning Group and Real Estate Development Manager at Cinnaire. Jerrell has a rich background in public transportation leadership, having served as Interim Deputy Director of Transportation for the City of Detroit, and has worked on strategic transformation initiatives within city government. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Urban Policy Studies from Georgia State University and professional development in effective negotiations and organizational change from USC Marshall School of Business and The Wharton School, respectively.
