Trisha Stein

Trisha Stein serves as the Chief Strategy Officer and Chief of Staff for the City of Detroit, overseeing communications, strategic initiatives, and special projects since January 2014. Previously, Trisha held roles such as Director of Administrative Operations for the Police Department, where strategic planning and business operations were prioritized for organizational growth, and Interim Director of the Planning & Development Department, focusing on HUD investment strategies and economic development. Earlier experience includes serving as Executive Director for One United Michigan, managing campaign strategies against constitutional amendments related to affirmative action, and as Chief of Administration for the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office, where labor relations and a substantial budget were managed. Trisha holds a Master of Science in Urban and Regional Planning from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Michigan.
