Jason Marius Jacobsen, MPA has a diverse work experience in finance and public administration. Jason Marius is currently the Director of Finance at the City of Diamond Bar. Prior to this, they served as the Finance Department Head / Dep. City Treasurer at the City of Ontario, where they managed various divisions within the Financial Services Agency and oversaw investments and general fund revenues.

Before their position in Ontario, Jacobsen worked as an Executive Analyst in the Public Works Administration at the City of Glendale, where they managed the department's budget and provided leadership on business operations and strategic planning. Jason Marius also served as a Budget Analyst in the Finance department of the same city.

Jason Marius was responsible for managing public/private partnerships, real estate transactions, and business attraction programs.

Jason Marius Jacobsen, MPA, obtained their Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree in the field of Public Administration & Policy Analysis from the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy. Jason Marius attended USC from 2011 to 2013.

Prior to their MPA, Jason earned their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Liberal Studies from California State University, Fullerton. Jason Marius studied at CSU Fullerton from 2006 to 2008.
