Hernan Organvidez

Hernan Organvidez currently serves as the City Manager for the City of Doral, a position held since August 2022. Prior to this role, Hernan led the City of Doral Police Department as Chief of Police from March 2018 to August 2022, where responsibilities included overseeing police operations, patrolling, crime investigations, and community relations. Hernan's experience also includes working as a Security Consultant at Ando Consulting Inc. from June 2016 to March 2018, providing advisory services and security assessments. Hernan's extensive career in law enforcement began with the Miami-Dade Police Department, where Hernan served as Police Division Chief for nearly 31 years, managing various divisions and departmental services. Hernan holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Florida International University and a Master's degree from Florida National University.
