Dr. Angie Brandel is a Professor of Teacher Education at the University of Dubuque, where since September 2010, courses have included topics such as Introduction to Education, Human Relation Skills, and Native American Genocide. Dr. Brandel has a strong interest in intercultural competence for educators and is a qualified administrator for the Intercultural Developmental Inventory. Additionally, contributions to the City of Dubuque involve organizing Indigenous Peoples' Day events and community proclamations. Dr. Brandel has extensive experience in education, previously serving as an Anti-Tobacco Educator, Special Education Teacher, and Elementary Education Teacher.
