Shenée Johnson Holloway MAT, M.Ed, CPL is an accomplished education and community engagement professional currently serving as a City Council Member for Duluth and as a Planning Commissioner, where responsibilities include reviewing zoning ordinances and land-use changes. With extensive experience in Gwinnett County Public Schools since 2004, roles have included Coordinator for Family Engagement, Program Specialist, Parent Instructional Coordinator, and English Language/Literature Teacher, focusing on federal grants, family and community engagement, and educational program development. Shenée has also contributed as a Poll Worker for Gwinnett County Government and has taught adult education at Gwinnett Technical College. Academic qualifications include multiple advanced degrees from Mercer University, a Public Leadership Certificate from Harvard Kennedy School, and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Florida A&M University.
