Heidi Nakaoka Wise serves as the Accounting Manager and Financial Services Administrator for the Parks and Recreation Department at the City of Durango since May 2021. Prior to this role, Heidi held various accounting positions at Purgatory Resort from April 2016 to May 2021, including Accounting Supervisor, Revenue Accountant, and Accounting Associate. Previous experience includes serving as Controller for Hermesman Family Partnership, Accounts Payable for The Strater Hotel, Property Manager for Triple H Leasing, and Inventory Intern at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Inc. Heidi earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Fort Lewis College, completing studies in 2013 after attending New Mexico Highlands University from 2008 to 2011.
