Theresa Hill is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in municipal and private sectors. Currently, Theresa has been with the City of Durango since August 2008, serving in multiple roles including Accountant, Senior Financial Specialist, and Accounting Tech III. Previous experience includes accounting work for the Town of Bayfield and office management at Garrhs HVAC. Theresa co-owned and managed Bailey Towing, growing the business from one truck and driver to seven trucks and six employees over a decade. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management with a concentration in finance and accounting from Colorado State University, an Associate of Science in Accounting from Colorado Technical University, and coursework in Accounting from Fort Lewis College and Arapahoe Community College.
