Imani Johnson

Imani Johnson is a skilled Public Information Communications Analyst with the City of Durham since December 2021 and has a diverse background in public service and communications. Prior experience includes serving as Miss North Carolina Central University from May 2020 to May 2021 and working as a Student Outreach Strategist and intern at Greater Diversity News. Imani was also a public policy intern for the City of Durham and held the position of Youth Coordinator at the N.C. A. Philip Randolph Institute. Notably, Imani served as 2019-2020 Miss Black and Old Gold, advocating for voter efficacy through the platform "Project W."
