Mai Xiong

Mai Xiong serves as the Founder, President, and CEO of HMong American Leadership and Economic Development since January 2018, while also holding the position of Chief Executive Officer at Magnolia Jems & Jewels LLC since January 2020. As a Community and Economic Development Officer at the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority and a City Council Member for the City of Eau Claire since 2020, Mai Xiong contributes to local governance and economic strategy. Previous roles include Director of Development for Special Olympics, Economic and Community Development Manager at HAP, and multiple positions at Wells Fargo, which included Premier Banker and Business Banking Specialist. An accomplished community consultant, Mai Xiong has worked extensively in economic development, financial literacy, and community partnerships, significantly impacting the Hmong community in the Eau Claire area and beyond. Education continues at Chippewa Valley Technical College.
