Derik Otten Ap Cfm

Derik Otten LEED AP, CFM is an accomplished Facilities Manager with extensive experience in facility operations and project management, currently overseeing maintenance for over 80 city-owned properties in Edina since April 2020. Prior positions include serving as the Senior Director of Campus Planning and Management at the Minnesota Zoo Foundation, where strategic planning and facility management were key responsibilities, and as Director of Project Services at the Minnesota Zoo, focusing on new projects and exhibit maintenance. Otten's project management expertise was also demonstrated at firms such as GenCon-Graus Construction, Elder-Jones Inc., and RGC Construction, specializing in both public works and retail tenant improvements. Otten holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from South Dakota State University.
