Leigh Martin has extensive experience in urban forestry, currently serving as the Urban Forester and Program Specialist for the City of Edmond since November 2009. In this role, Leigh designs and coordinates programs aimed at enhancing tree canopy through planting, maintenance, and community education, while also managing the city's landscaping standards. Previously, from June 2007 to October 2009, Leigh worked as a Forestry Specialist for the City of Austin, where responsibilities included overseeing a significant tree maintenance contract, conducting tree risk assessments, and developing urban forest management plans. Leigh holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Urban and Community Forestry from Oklahoma State University, earned in 2007.
