Don Nguyen

Don Nguyen currently serves as Utilities Manager for the City of El Monte, overseeing the utilities infrastructure and managing water, wastewater, and storm drain systems while implementing conservation programs and ensuring regulatory compliance. Prior to this role, Don held the position of Water General Manager for the City of Compton, where responsibilities included managing a large department budget, leading professional development trainings, and implementing policies. Don's previous experience also encompasses roles as Water Utility Supervisor and Water Service Worker in the City of Santa Fe Springs and the City of Compton, respectively. Don holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from California State University-Long Beach.
