Dr. Miles-Bonart has served as a board member for the Open Space Advisory Board since July 2020, contributing to the preservation of open spaces, and has been a member of the Educational Advisory Board for Texas Senate District 29 since May 2003, assisting Senator Jose Rodriguez in developing educational recommendations. With a background spanning over four decades in education, including roles as an educational diagnostician and chair of various educational initiatives, Dr. Miles-Bonart combines expertise in educational practices with a commitment to environmental concerns, holding a Ph.D. in Educational Curriculum from New Mexico State University and multiple degrees from The University of Texas at El Paso.
