Edwin Rivas

Edwin Rivas is a highly experienced professional with a diverse background in law enforcement and military aviation. Currently serving as a Police Officer for The City of El Paso Texas since April 2021, Edwin previously had a distinguished career in the US Army from November 2001 to October 2022, where roles included AH64D Aviation Material Officer, AH-64D Maintenance Test Pilot, and AH-64D Production Control Officer. Edwin's military experience encompassed both piloting and managing maintenance for combat helicopters, conducting operations under various conditions. In addition, Edwin served as a Correctional Officer for the Illinois Department of Corrections and as an Infantryman in the Army National Guard. Edwin holds a Master of Science in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Columbia Southern University and a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Excelsior University.
