Mirella Tamayo

Mirella Tamayo currently serves as the Assistant Director for the City of El Paso, Texas, a position held since September 2021. Previously, Mirella was the Special District Program Manager in the City of El Paso's Economic and International Development Department, focusing on business development strategies and tax revenue monitoring. Additional experience includes roles as Business & Customer Service Assistant Manager for the City of El Paso, Lead Financial Counselor for Serco's Soldier for Life – Transition Assistance Program, and Business Development Officer for Enchantment Land Certified Development Company. Mirella also owned Ooh La La Boutique and served as a Business Loan Officer at GECU for nearly 17 years. Mirella holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
