Jeffrey Schaffer

Jeffrey Schaffer is an experienced civil engineer currently serving as the Assistant City Engineer for the City of Elkhart, Indiana, since August 2023. Prior to this role, Schaffer worked as a Project Manager for Abonmarche Consultants, Inc. from June 2021 to August 2023, and as an Engineer at Ports of Indiana from June 2020 to May 2021. Schaffer has extensive experience with the City of Elkhart in various positions, including Right-of-Way Engineer from May 2017 to June 2020. Additional experience includes serving as Engineering and Design Director at Anchor Construction, LLC, and roles at Weaver Consultants Group, MSCW, Wagner Construction, Marbach, Brady & Weaver, and Weaver and Associates. Schaffer holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Purdue University, earned between 1997 and 2001, and also attended Bethel University from 1995 to 1997.
