Emily Bastedo

Emily Bastedo is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in government relations, public affairs, and legal advisory roles. Currently, Emily serves as the Director of Global Government Relations and Public Affairs at ISACA, where efforts focus on expanding the organization's influence in the global marketplace, particularly in Washington D.C. Additionally, Emily holds the position of Alderman for the 6th Ward in Elmhurst and has previously worked as a Senior Advisor to the Governor of Illinois, Chief of Staff to the First Lady, and Associate General Counsel. Notably, Emily led a successful campaign to pass a $168.5 million referendum for school improvements in Elmhurst. Emily's legal background includes serving as an attorney specializing in bond counsel for various Illinois governmental entities. Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from the University of Notre Dame and a Doctor of Law from DePaul University College of Law.
