Rex Irby

Rex Irby is currently serving as Vice President at Solar International Services since April 2021 and as City Council Alderman for Ward 7 in the City of Elmhurst, also since April 2023, where involvement includes the Finance Committee. Prior experience includes roles as a Field Sales Consultant at Sunrun and as an Independent Solar & IT Consultant with The Solar Computer Guy from February 2002 to June 2018. Rex's extensive IT consulting background includes positions at IT-Terasys and Robert Half Consulting, along with network engineering roles at Entex-Seimans and MicroAid. The educational background includes a BBA in Accounting and Data Processing from The University of Texas at Austin and certification as a NABCEP Associate in Solar Photovoltaics from the Midwest Renewable Energy Association.
