Alyssa Chung

Alyssa Chung is an experienced urban planner with a strong background in community and regional planning. Currently serving as an Assistant Planner for the City of Emeryville since January 2023, Alyssa previously held positions as a Planner and Assistant Planner at Urban Planning Partners, Inc. from April 2019 to August 2022. Alyssa began a career in planning as a Planning Intern at RRM Design Group from June 2016 to August 2018 and also gained experience as a Student Assistant in Facilities Planning & Capital Projects at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo in early 2016. Alyssa holds a Bachelor of Science in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning, as well as a minor in Anthropology and Geography from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, where studies were completed from 2013 to 2018.
