Navarre Oaks (they/them)

Navarre Oaks is an experienced urban planner currently serving as a Senior Planner for the City of Emeryville since October 2013, where responsibilities include acting as Project Manager for the implementation of the 6th Cycle Housing Element and the development of the Active Transportation Plan and Objective Standards. Previous roles in the City of Emeryville include Associate Planner and Assistant Planner, with significant contributions to the 6th Cycle Housing Element. Additional experience encompasses outreach and educational efforts with Ecology Action and the Public Art Committee, as well as consultancy work related to complete streets audits and planning internships. Navarre Oaks holds a Master’s degree in Urban Planning from San Jose State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Urban Studies from San Francisco State University.
